Room Cards - Unveiled!


Greetings, fellow dungeon delvers and prison escapees! 

It's time for another exciting update on the development of Micro Dungeon Escape. I've been hard at work expanding the game and creating the cards that I promised all those months ago. Today I am thrilled thrilled to introduce a fresh batch of dungeon room cards that can be printed to completely alter the way the game works.

Not only are there 6 additional rooms added to the game, there are also some changes introduced to the existing rooms. This will add even more depth and variety to the game and allows you to play the game as a card-driven dungeon crawler.

Got your cards printed?! Let's prepare your dungeon then!

Step 1. Put tokens on tokens and  boss cards aside for now. You'll need them later.

Step 2. Set your character sheet (HP and item trackers), your skill tracker (Search, Fight, Sneak) and the enemy HP tracker in front of yourself. Get some tokens or cubes to track your current HP and items as well as enemy of your opponents.

Step 3. Shuffle all of the room cards and set them aside to create a draw deck from which you will be drawing cards to creat your unique dungeon.

Step 4. Choose your difficulty level and put the tokens on the appropriate spots.

Step 5. Draw the top deck card and lay it on the table, this is the first dungeon you have to complete.

Step 6. Continue drawing room cards and setting them in a way that only 1 side of the newly drawn card touches any other card, creating a unique dungeon with every playthrough.

Step 7. Once the deck is empty and there are no more cards to draw, randomly draw one of the 3 bosses to fight. This is your last hurdle to your freedom!

Step 8. Defeat the boss to earn your freedom or die trying!


Any feedback on the new mode of play will be greatly appreciated. The mode is designed to move away from the roll and draw gameplay to a more card driven/board game like style of play :)
